The house is set within the old walls of the village, next to one of the original gateways.
It is renovated, but retains its original character, and has everything required for a comfortable stay for up to five people. An east-facing balcony with views to Mt Ventoux overlooks a pretty square with a fountain and regular gatherings of locals.
The ground floor includes a large, well-equipped kitchen with a traditional farmhouse table and exposed timber beams. In the colder months visitors can enjoy the comfort of an open fire. There is also a traditional ‘cave’ behind the kitchen, ideal for storing the famous local wines.
The spacious main bedroom is on the first floor and has a queen size bed, a walk-in wardrobe and plenty of shelving. All linen is supplied. On this floor there is also a light-filled bathroom with shower, bath, vanity and bidet, a laundry with washing machine and dryer, and a separate toilet.
On the second floor is a double bedroom with a queen size bed and single bed. With its top-level position and shuttered windows this is a light and pleasant room, with views across the village rooftops.
Also on this level is a spacious sitting room, with TV, and CD and DVD players, and a collection of English-language books. Off the sitting room is a terracotta balcony overlooking the square, with great views across the village, vineyards and olive groves to Mt Ventoux, the ‘Giant of Provence’.
